About Organization

Geritol Follies is a self-supporting, not-for-profit organization. Its members and cast of entertainers contribute their talent and time strictly on a volunteer basis, with no remuneration for performance, or acts.

Based as not-for-profit, all net income is contributed to worthwhile community charities and to the pursuit of education in the entertainment and gerontology areas.

With a long-standing history of community aid and support, the Geritol Follies funds its own bursaries and scholarships for youth pursuing a post-secondary education in the arts or gerontology.

The Hamilton Community Foundation currently manages the organizations student scholarship funds totaling $165,000. As well, McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario manages funds in the McMaster Student Opportunity Fund on behalf of the Geritol Follies, which has raised $20,000 in scholarship funds.

Over the years, the Geritol Follies has aided the community by performing for charity groups with performance proceeds funding many worthwhile community charities.
